Happy (belated) Mother’s Day everyone! Now I know Mother’s Day was actually yesterday, but I completely forgot to put up a blog post about it. It’s not that I don’t love my Mother I just forgot to write a blog post about it. Anyways, yesterday we got Mom a brand new shiny bike! Mom used to ride to ride a bunch before we moved to Florida, but we haven’t used our bikes a lot since we got to Florida. So, Mom’s old bike needed new inner-tubes, but mostly, the bike was too tall. So we got Mom a great new bike. And also a very girly bike. So, Happy Mother’s Day!!!

Easter Eggs
This year we had a fairly easy time finding our Easter eggs. Because we ate them for dinner on Good Friday! Luckily I took some pictures of them before my siblings and I devoured them. We also had some eggs that had special designs on them. Like this polka dot egg. And this egg.We managed to make the designs on the eggs because Anne had the wonderful idea of dipping a Q-tip in the dye and then spreading it on the egg.
Happy Easter!
Hooray Lent is finally over. Happy Easter everyone!!!
A Long Day
We’ve got a long day today. This afternoon Nicholas is (finally) graduating from law school. Then after that we are going to the Easter Vigil. After that it will finally be Easter!
Happy Anniversary!
Hooray! Today is Mom and Dad’s anniversary! And I’m not just trying to be a jerk because it’s April fools day, it really is Mom and Dad’s anniversary. Today is the anniversary of when Mom and Dad met. I always celebrate Mom and Dad’s anniversaries with great enthusiasm, because if they had not met and been married I would not exist!
Which Feast Day is it?
Do you know what feast day today is? I’ll give you a hint; it’s the 25th of March and today is a Marian feast day. Yep, today is the feast of the Annunciation. So, Happy Feast of the Annunciation everyone!
Happy Feast of the Solemnity of St. Joseph!
Happy Feast of the Solemnity of St. Joseph! Though technically Yesterday was the actual day when the feast would normally take place, our parish is celebrating it today. It’s a pretty special feast day, if you ask me. After all St. Joseph is both the patron saint for St. Joseph’s (obviously) and ME!
St. Patrick
Yesterday was St. Patrick’s Day! So happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! I would have said this yesterday, but I completely forgot about the blog. It was also Mom’s birthday. Okay not really. But Mom’s phone really thought it was. The day before Yesterday it kept saying it would be Mom’s birthday. Since the reminder was completely wrong, Mom deleted it. And Yesterday it came back! Mom’s phone was convinced Yesterday was her birthday. It was really weird.
Happy Pi Day!
Happy Pi day everybody! Today is the 3rd month of the year and the 14th day of the month. So today is 3/14 or Pi day! That means we should all celebrate by doing math problems involving Pi, like finding the diameter of a circle, or the area of a cylinder. If you want to have real fun you could find the area of a sphere…or maybe eating normal pie would be more fun.
Ash Wednesday
Happy Ash Wednesday. Today marks the beginning of lent. It is also the day that Catholics everywhere try to see how long they can keep the ash on their foreheads (because that obviously makes them holier). Stephen can’t do this for very long because he hates having dirt on his head.
